This isn't the first time Bay Area producer AmpLive has versioned a WHY? song, though it is the first time he's sounded like Dust Brothers-era Beck, hulkily chomping through stilted beatstalks with a decimated blues riff. We pulled the track from a larger package of Eskimo Snow remixes AmpLive worked on in advance of his own album, Murder At The Discotech, which is out March 16 through Om subsidiary Child's Play.
